We elected new board members

President: Yors Garcia
Vice-president: Kade-Ann Henry
Secretary: Noor Syed

We have also recruited new members this past year. There are multiple goals we want to accomplish this year:

Recruit more members.
Organize a symposium next year at an ABAI event.
Supporting research projects related to the mission of the SIG.

During the past year we have elected a new president (Yors Garcia), vice-president (Kade-Ann Henry), and secretary (Noor Syed). Last years during the annual ABAI conference held online we discussed multiple goals, for example, increasing social media presence, developing a website, and creating a podcast with theme of discussing action items. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, we could not accomplish most of these goals. However, we are hoping to complete during this coming year most of the above-mentioned goals.
